As the demand for robust data security measures continues to rise, the 12th edition of the Nigeria ICT Impact CEO Forum (NIICF) is gearing up to tackle the pressing issues of data protection and cybersecurity. Scheduled for November 16 at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, this year’s forum is themed “Strengthening Data Protection, Cloud Infrastructure & Cyber Security.”
Chaired by Mallam Umar Namadi, the Governor of Jigawa State, the event promises to be a pivotal gathering for industry leaders. Mr. Tayo Adewusi, the coordinator for the NIICF and the Africa Digital Awards (ADA), shared insights on the goals of the forum. He emphasized that participants will delve into the evolving challenges and opportunities in data protection, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity, with an objective to explore their impacts across various sectors and propose innovative solutions for navigating the digital landscape.
Kicking off the event will be Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovations, and Digital Economy, who will deliver the welcome address. Following him, Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, is slated to give the keynote speech.
Adewusi also highlighted that industry stakeholders will present papers on a diverse range of topics throughout the forum. This event aims to provide a crucial platform for C-level executives, industry experts, and stakeholders to network, share experiences, and collaborate effectively. Participants will have the chance to interact with potential partners and forge meaningful business relationships.

In parallel with the forum, the 12th Africa Digital Awards (ADA) will honor over 50 remarkable individuals and organizations making strides in using ICT to foster positive change.
